Crackers- Oh She Glows Endurance Cracker

Crackers- Oh She Glows Endurance Cracker

"These Endurance Crackers are extremely light, healthy, and crispy while providing long-lasting energy. I love serving them with hummus (obviously) or smashed avocado and sea salt. Feel free to change up the seasonings and spices as you wish. These crackers are inspired by the ChcolaTree Organic Oasis in Sedona."

Slow Cooker Chana Masala

Slow Cooker Chana Masala

Chana masala is a popular vegetarian Indian curry dish made with tomatoes, spices, and chickpeas. (Chana means chickpea in Hindi.) This slow cooker version means you can make it whenever you want without having to hang around the kitchen while it cooks. The recipe calls for potatoes, which make the dish more filling, but you can leave them out for a lighter option or substitute sweet potatoes or winter squash. Chana masala will keep up to five days in the fridge and also freezes well for future meals. Serve over brown basmati rice.

Granola Chocolate Chip Cookies

Granola Chocolate Chip Cookies

This granola chocolate chip cookie recipe is a makeover of a basic chocolate chip cookie, without any refined flour or sugar (and less sweetener), and packed with nutrient-rich crunchy, melty, flavorful super foods. Feel free to mix, match and substitute as you please with other chopped nuts, seeds or puffed/popped grains. They are a great vegan, gluten-free snack after school. I like using mini chocolate chips because you can get away with adding a smaller amount of total chocolate, but still getting a chocolate chunk at every bite.

*To freeze for later, cook burgers as instructed on grill or skillet. Then set on a baking sheet or plate and freeze. Once frozen completely, seal in a freezer-safe bag or container and store for up to 3 weeks. Reheat in a 375 degree F oven on a bare baking sheet for 20-30 minutes, or until warmed through and golden brown (or in the microwave for 1-2 minutes).
