About Tony Tate

I am a culinary/baking student at the Culinary Institute of Charleston. I am currently focusing on a baking and pastry certificate.

I have loved cooking since my mom first taught me how to scramble an egg. I cooked in a restaurant for a little while before joining the Navy. And I did not cook in the Navy. I was a musician.

I have been out of the Navy for 7 years. I worked for a little while as a receiver at the Food Lion Distribution Center in Green Cove Springs, Florida. I had to give that up after back surgery in 2010.

I now live in St. Stephen, SC, where I go to school. Right now I am just enjoying the classes. I like collecting recipes though I don't get to cook all that much. Anyway, it is great to be here.
