Traditional Italian Almond biscuits - easy to make and great to serve with coffee

- 5 egg whites (Lightly Beaten)
- 500 g ground white almond
- 350 g caster sugar
- 3 drops vanilla essence
- 3 drops almond essence
- 150 g glace cherry (Halved)
- 150 g icing sugar
