Mee Goreng
This has to be my favourite home made noodle dish. It's full of protein with chicken and egg, has lots of veggies, while the four different sauces gives the dish a real buzz.
Dishes like these make me long for a trip back to Bali.
Ingredients
- 1 packet egg noodle (cooked as per instructions)
- 1 chicken fillet (thinly sliced)
- ½ carrot (peeled and julienne)
- 3 cloves garlic (peeled and finely chopped)
- ¼ onion (peeled and finely chopped)
- 1 egg ()
- 1 pinch salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp kecap mani
- ½ tbsp mushroom sauce
- 2 tbsps tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ¼ cabbage (finely Sliced)
- 1 bunch bok choy
- 3 spring onion (sliced)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsps fried spring onion (optional)
