This is my favourite smoothie at the moment, after getting back from the Middle East dates have been one of my biggest cravings.

This recipe came to me at 4am, thanks to some very bad jet lag I'm busy reading food blogs and one of my favourites, The Pastry Affair have shared a Almond Date Banana Smoothie. This is my version of a banana and date smoothie.

Warning: having the blender on at early hours of the morning will get you in trouble with the other half.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana (I use frozen bananas)
  • 4 medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lsa meal

Instructions

Keep screen awake

    Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
