Serves 6

Delicious creamy pie made with a tuna mornay

Ingredients

  • 4 sheets puff pastry (Defrosted for 5-10 mins)
  • 850 g tuna in springwater (Strained)
  • 4T Margarine or butter
  • 4T Flour (Heaped)
  • 2t Chicken stock
  • 1 ½ cups Grated cheese
  • 1 ½ cups Milk

    Melt butter/margarine and then stir in flour. Cook for .
  • 2
    Slowly add milk to create a sauce consistency. Keep stirring. Then add chicken stock to flavour.

    Add grated cheese and mix together thoroughly. Take off heat
  • 4
    Pour pie filling into pie dish - pre lined with pastry
  • 5
    Put lid on. Use a fork to clamp down lid onto the pastry bottom.

    Brush with egg or milk. Cook in oven for at 180 degrees.
