Slow Cooked Swiss Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsps All purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1-½ lb boneless beef round steak (cut into ¼ inch pieces)
  • 1 med onion (cut into ¼ inch slices)
  • 1 rib celery (cut into ½ in. piece)
  • 2 cans tomato sauce (8 ozs.)

Instructions

    In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, salt and pepper.

    Add the steak; seal the bag and toss to coat.
  • 3
    Place the onion in a greased slow cooker.
  • 4
    Top with the steak, celery and tomato sauce.

    Cover and cook on low for or until the meat is tender.
