Sausage Sage Stuffing

Serves 10

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Sage Sausage (Can substitute other flavors of sausage)
  • 2 cups Chopped Onion
  • 1 cup Celery
  • 2 tsps Rubbed Sage
  • 1 tsp Marjoram
  • 10 cups Sage and Onion Dry Bread Cubes (Can substitute other flavors of bread cubes)
  • ½ cup Chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsps Butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp Salt (Adjust for personal taste)
  • 2 tsps Pepper (Adjust for personal taste)

Instructions

    Cook sausage in large skillet until browned. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

    Cook onion and celery in drippings, in skillet, until tender.

    Combine sausage, cooked vegitable, sage, marjoram, bread cubes, and parsley in large mixing bowl; blend well.

    Stir in chicken broth to moisten. Season with salt and pepper.

    Place in greased, 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Dot with pads of butter and cook in a preheated 350° oven for . Uncover and bake or until golden brown.
