Indonesian Sate Sauce

↬ Adapted from Satésaus met Pindakaas - Calvé

Ingredients

  • 400 ml Water
  • 5 tbs Ketjap Manis (Sweet soy sauce)
  • 2 tbs Brown sugar
  • 1 ts Ground ginger
  • 1 ts Sambal Oelek
  • 200 gr Crunchy peanut butter
  • ½ ts Garlic powder
  • ¼ ts Onion powder
  • ½ tb Vinegar

Instructions

Keep screen awake
  • 1
    Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the peanut butter in a pan and bring to a boil. Mix in the peanut butter and stir till dissolved. Simmer till the sauce thickens. Add Ketjap/brown sugar/onion powder to taste.
