Salmon Ball

This recipe makes 1 1/2-c. of spread.

ᔥ Originally from "The Fannie Farmer Cookbook" (1994 ed.)

Ingredients

  • 7 ¼ oz salmon (canned; drained)
  • 3 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp horseradish (prepared)
  • 1 tbsp onion (grated)
  • salt
  • ¼ c. parsley (fresh; minced)
  • ¼ c. pecans (finely chopped)

Instructions

Keep screen awake
  • 1
    Mix salmon, cream cheese, lemon juice, horseradish, & onion together.

    Stir in salt to taste.
  • 3
    Refrigerate mixture till it is firm enough to handle.
  • 4
    Mix parsley & pecans together in shallow bowl/pie plate.
  • 5
    Form salmon mixture into bll & rool in parsley-pecans.
