Ingredients

  • 1 bag fresh sugar peas (rinse and cut off ends)
  • 1 red onion (diced)
  • 6 cloves fresh garlic (diced)
  • rosemary
  • 6 strips bacon (use jalapeno bacon for a kick)
  • olive oil
  • beef or vegetable broth (mix ½ with water)

    mix 1/2 broth with water in a pot with drop in strainer. Bring to boil and drop strainer with peas into boiling water and cover for approx .

    while boiling peas, dice red onions and garlic and saute in pan with bacon. Add rosemary seasoning toward the end of the saute process. Once bacon is cooked remove and drain for dicing later.

    After boil time for peas, remove peas from water and let sit and drain for approx. .

    By now onions, garlic and bacon should be complete. Add all items back into saute pan and drizzle olive oil to cover ingredients. Add snow peas to pan and saute all items together

    Once the sugar peas are caramelized remove from stove and serve.
