One of dad's favorites, Mom used to make this regularly, An all time family favorite. This is more of a casserole than a soup. I make my own taco seasoning but you can use the store brand.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lg onion diced small
  • 5 ribs celery diced small
  • 3 tbsps taco seasoning
  • 4 bell peppers any color diced ⅜ inch
  • ½ tsp msg (opt)
  • 2 bay sleves
  • 5 beef boullion cubes
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 15 oz diced tomatoes
  • 8 c water
  • 12 oz your favorite pasta

    In a large soup pot saute ground beef, stir to crumble, drain off fat. Add garlic, onions and celery, saute for , add bell peppers and saute for . Add seasonings, bouillon tomato products and water, bring to a rolling boil, Reduce heat and simmer for , Taste for seasoning, Add macaroni and stir and simmer for or until pasta is done, Serve hot.
