Parsley Rice

This recipe makes 3-c. of cooked rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. rice
  • 2 c. water (cold)
  • ½-1 tsp salt
  • parsley (snipped)

Instructions

Keep screen awake

    Put rice, water, & salt in 2-qt. saucepan with tight-fitting cover.

    Cover & bring to vigorous boil.
  • 3
    Reduce heat as low as possible & cook . without lifting cover or stirring.
  • 4
    Turn off heat & let rice steam, covered, for .
  • 5
    Stir in parsley.
