A really good crockpot recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • ⅓ cup coconut aminos
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 2 tbsps orange juice
  • 2 tbsps tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsps minced garlic
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ¾ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 bunch broccoli

    Place chicken thighs or breasts in crockpot.

    In a small bowl mix together coconut aminos, honey, orange juice, tomato sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper.

    Pour sauce over chicken in crock pot and cook on low for .

    Once done cooking remove chicken from crock pot and cut into bite size pieces.

    Remove sauce from pot and place in a saucepan over medium heat. Let simmer for until it is reduce by half and is thick and shiny. If you want a sweeter sauce you can add a little brown sugar while it is simmering.

    Toss in cubed chicken to sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

    Serve with cooked rice and broccoli.
