Liver Sandwich Spread (Liver Canapé Spread)

This recipe makes about 1 1/2-c. of spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. liver (cooked & ground [pork / beef / lamb / veal])
  • 1 egg (hard-boiled & chopped)
  • 3 tbsps celery (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsps onion (minced)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp MSG
  • ¼ c. ketchup

Instructions

Keep screen awake

    Mix liver together with egg, celery, onion, mustard, salt, & MSG.

    Stir in enough ketchup to make the spread moist & of spreading consistency.
  • 3
    Spread on canapé bases or use as filling for sandwiches.
