For making your own home cured ham

Ingredients

  • ½ c Kosher salt
  • ½ c Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Instacure cure #1
  • 5 Whole cloves
  • 1 tsp Whole pepper corns
  • ½ gallon Cold filtered water
  • 4 lbs Pork button I do 2 inch chunks
  • ½ c Honey

Instructions

Keep screen awake

    Mix all ingredients except pork until Sat like and sugar are dissolved. Add pork into a non reactive container, add pork, make sure pork is submerged and refrigerate for 5 to 6 days, smoke to 155 degrees.
