Healthy Strawberry Oat Bars
These healthy snack bars are so easy to make! Only 1 Tablespoon of refined sugar, gluten - free, no butter, no oil, and made with good for you ingredients.
**Use Quick Oats! Strawberries are actually incredibly healthy You have to have almonds to have enough topping. So don't leave them out. (You can also replace with other types of nuts if desired)

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 2 cups finely diced strawberries
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Oatmeal Base and Topping
- 2 ¼ cups quick oats
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup unsalted almond butter (or peanut butter or sunflower seed butter** i believe this is to make it healthier)
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup apple butter (you may use any type of fruit butter)
- 1 large egg, beaten
- ½ cup sliced almonds
