Glazed Gourmet Beefburgers

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ lbs ground beef
  • 1 ½ tsps salt
  • 1 tsp mustard (dry)
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ c. pepper, whole (green; finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • ½ c. chili sauce
  • 2 tbsps jelly (grape)

Instructions

Keep screen awake

    Sprinkle salt, pepper, & mustard over ground beef.

    Lightly mix in green pepper & drained capers.

    Shape meat mixture into 6 1/2-in. thick patties.

    Put chili sauce & jelly in saucepan & cook till jelly is melted (about .).

    Grill patties over moderate heat for . per side.

    Brush grape chili sauce on burgers & continue cooking till they reach desired doneness. As they cook, turn & brush occasionally with sauce.
