Ingredients
1 c packed brown sugar
¾ c oil
¼ c molasses
1 medium egg
dry
2 c flour
2 tsps baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ginger powder
cookie coating
⅓ c granulated sugar

Preheat oven to 375
In a large bowl combine brown sugar, oil, molasses and egg. in a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, ground cloves, cinnamon and ginger, add to molasses mixture to form a soft dough. roll into 1 inch balls, roll each ball in sugar and place 2 inches apart on ungreased sheet pans. bake until centers are firm, let set on pans then place on towels to cool.
