Creole Cocktail Sauce

Ingredients
- water
- 2 tbsps cornstarch
- ¼ c. tomato paste
- ⅔ c. tomato sauce
- 2 tsps salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch cloves (ground)
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- 3 slices bacon
- ⅓ c. onions (finely chopped)
- ½ c. celery (finely chopped)
- ⅓ c. peppers, whole (green; finely chopped)
