Slow cooker chili verde.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder fat trimmed ¾ inch cubes
  • 2 lg white onions chopped
  • 2 med heads garlic chopped
  • 3 each poblanos chopped seed included
  • 28 oz can tomatillos
  • 18 oz chili verde salsa
  • ½ c chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 2 tsps garlic salt
  • 2 jalapenos seeds removed diced fine
  • 1 ½ tsps ground cumin

    Saute onions and garlic for , Add all ingredients to a large crock pot, Cook on high for . Serve over rice with chopped fresh cilantro, sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese. You can cook this on the stove top, cook on a low simmer and check meat for tenderness after 1 ½ hours.
