Chicken and bacon are a match made in heaven. Remember to reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water - the salty, starchy water not only adds flavour, but helps the pasta and sauce stick together.

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken (french grind)
  • 1 Onion (diced)
  • 4 mushrooms (diced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (diced finely)
  • 500 g pasta
  • 1 eggs wisked
  • 1 cup cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sour-cream
  • 500 ml cream
  • 4 slices bacon

    Cook pasta and set aside. In a frypan add oil and chicken, and fry until cooked.

    Add bacon, onion, mushrooms and garlic, and cook a further .

    Add cream and sour cream, and simmer for . While stirring add whisked egg and grated cheese.

    Continue stirring until all cheese has melted through. Add cooked pasta and toss until combined.
