Carrot Cake
Carrot cake is a cake that contains carrots mixed into the batter. The carrot softens in the cooking process, and the cake usually has a soft, dense texture. Carrot Cake can be enjoy as a quick tea time cake. It has a Moist, dense texture. Loaded with the rich taste of cinnamon and a lot of nuts such as raisins and dates. I just love this recipe and m looking forward to sharing it with everyone out there.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Carrots (grated)
- 200 gms Butter
- 200 gms powdered Sugar
- 200 gms Flour or maida
- 3 large Eggs
- ½ tsp Baking Powder (or little less than ½ tsp)
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ cup Dates (Chopped)
- milk (if required)
- Salt (a pinch)
