Boilermaker Tailgate Chili
Lots of veggies in this chili. I did this recipe in a 9 qt stock pot and had about 1 inch from top.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground chuck
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 3 15 oz cans chili beans
- 1 15 oz can spicy chili beans
- 2 28 oz cans diced tomato w/green chili
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1 lg chopped onion
- 3 stalks of celery diced
- 1 green bell pepper diced
- 1 red bell pepper diced
- 2 diced jalapenos (remove seeds for milder)
- 1 tbsp crisp bacon bits
- ½ c beer
- 3 tbsps chili powder
- 1 tbsp ancho chili pepper powder
- 1 tbsp worcestershire
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp dry oregano
- 2 tsps ground cumin
- 2 tsps hot sauce
- 1 tsp dry basil
- 1 tsp cayenne powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp paprika
