Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Bottled beer (i prefer dark hoppy beer)
  • 3 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • ½ tbsp Salt
  • 3 tbsps Sugar
  • 2 tbsps Melted butter

Instructions

    In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.

    Add beer and continue to mix - first using a wooden spoon, then your hands. Batter will be sticky.

    Pour into a 9 x 5 inch greased loaf pan. (I use Baker's Joy spray)

    Top with melted butter.

    Bake at 350 degrees for . Top will be crunchy and golden brown, insides will be soft but not doughy.
