Bacon Corn Bread

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg corn bread / muffin mix (8-½ oz)
  • 1 ea. egg
  • ½ cup frozen corn (thawed)
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated onion
  • 5 strips bacvon (cooked and crumbled)
  • ½ tsp poppy seeds
  • ⅛ tsp paprika

Instructions

Keep screen awake

    In a bowl, combine the first six ingredient just until blended.

    Pour into a greased 8 in. square baking dish.
  • 3
    Sprinkle with bacon, poppy seed if desired and paprika.
  • 4
    Bake at 375 degrees for or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.

    Cut into squares; serve warm.
