Bacon-Apple-Cheddar Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Steel-Cut Oatmeal
  • ⅓ cup Apple Cider
  • 1 Apple (Chopped)
  • 3 tbsps Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Optional)
  • 4 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble)
  • 4 tbsps Walnuts (Chopped)

Instructions

Keep screen awake

    Cook oatmeal according to the package directions.

    Once the oatmeal is cooked, add the cider, apple, and syrup to the pot and stir until heated through.

    Divide the oatmeal into 4 bowls and top each bowl with 1/4 cup cheddar, 1 slice bacon, and 1 Tbsp. walnuts.
