Tested - Yummy Crispy Pork Belly

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs Pork Belly
  • 1 head of Garlic (Peeled / pounded slightly)
  • 2 tablespoons Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Peppercorns
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 4-8 cups Water (enough to cover pork belly)
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • Course Salt

Instructions

Keep screen awake

    Add above Pork Belly, Garlic, 2T of salt, peppercorns, Bay Leaves & Water to a large pot, Bring water to a boil

    Skim "Scum" that floats to the top
  • 3
    Lower Heat & cover, Simmer
  • 4
    Remove Pork Belly & Place on Wire Rack over a baking pan & Let cool

    Poke Holes throughout skin w/ a fork
  • 6
    Wipe Dry w/ Paper Towels all over
  • 7
    Brush skin w/ vinegar
  • 8
    Cover all sides w/ salt
  • 9
    Cover skin w/ a this layer of salt

    Refrigerate Pork Belly overnight uncovered to cool & Dry

    Scrape off the salt
  • 12
    Cook in air fryer @ 360 degrees for

    Increase temp to 400 degress for
  • 14
    Rest for then Slice/enjoy
